The most common accounting names are Certified Internal Auditor (CAA), Certified Professional Accountant (CCAA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPAC) and Certified Internal Auditor (CDAA). A certified internal auditor does not need a license to practice. Accountants must adhere to the Australian Accounting Standards Board (ASB) Accepted Principles of Professional Accounting (APPA) guiding principles.
